Fun game, great concept.

bluswimmer responds:

Thank you!

smash is gay play a real fighting game you groomers

Stepford responds:

:-C

my review of this game is just the sound effect of the guy saying "ooohhhh shiiiiiiit" from that one pac-man clone on the MSX titled "oh shit"

I have a Wacom Intuos Pro tablet, and for whatever reason, this game doesn't work at all. None of my left clicks register no matter what I map them to. I gave up after 20 minutes of trying to make it work.

Stepford responds:

Heya! I'm sorry the game didn't work with your tablet. Mine was acting strange at first but then I updated my drivers and it worked fine! Even if it doesn't work with your tablet, you can still try playing it with a mouse.

Thank you for trying it out, though! <3

Cool art but please don't actually buy YIIK, you guys. For the love of God do not spend your money on this game. It is not at all worth it and the creator is a huge douchebag.

OneDude20 responds:

ehh... you'd be surprised. A few of us were actually in cahoots with the creator of yiik thru discord. He's really not that bad of a guy!

This is so buggy it's unplayable. Nothing seems to make sense and things are poorly conveyed, like it doesn't explain how ambushing the one guy in the hall works or how to use your inventory items. At one point the game softlocked when I clicked on "south" after coming out of hiding behind a rock. I tried again and ambushed the guy on my second try and then Pico slid offscreen for no reason and the game softlocked again. Another time the guy in the hallway with the multiple arms killed me before I could even do anything, and also clicking respawn on the game over screen doesn't work. Sorry but this has a ton of problems.

kovonaut responds:

thank you for telling us, we haven’t had any softlock problems that we know about so far so this really helps tell us what we need to fix next patch. as for the rest of your feedback i do agree that the boss’s ai can be frustrating especially when starting on low hp, and we’ve had to explain how the inventory items work. due to time constraints we had to make this a demo but we have plans for a fully fleshed out tutorial in the full game.

XZCendence responds:

Based on when you submitted this review, you should have gotten the version that explains exactly what to do for the guard in the hallway, it appears in the bottom of the screen once you enter the room with the guard. It should also have explained how using the uzi worked. There were still some things that went unexplained and required trial and error. The only softlocking I was able to reproduce was through spamming the hide buttons while pico was in the traversal stage of moving from room to room. I otherwise appreciate this critical feedback and we'll try to address everything in the full version. The game also seems to only have those bugs when using on a very lowly-spec'd machine such as a chromebook.

YEAHHH NEWGROUNDS ASSASSIN IS BACK BABY

Yomuchan responds:

Imma make some more now that I've got the design down. This was one hell of an educational experience.

Surprisingly a lot of fun for a game so simple.

Only complaint is that B.B. Topper doesn't show you her boobs at the end. Hope she becomes a staple Newgrounds character and we see her in more things.

What a wonderful little game! Just discovered it two days ago and beat it today. If you ever do a deluxe or expanded standalone version on Steam I'll pick it up.

Jack responds:

stay tuned ;;;;;;)))))
